Announcement: TA List for the Department/Graduate Institute of Physics (Fall Semester, 2026–2027 Academic Year): Link

• TA Check-in & Sign-off:

  Accepted students must contact their course instructor before the start of the semester (Sept 7) to check in and obtain their signature. (If you are serving as a TA for more than one course, you must submit a separate check-in form for each course, printed double-sided on a single page).

  • Hard copies of the check-in form must be submitted in person to Ms. Lee at Counter #3 in the Department Office by 17:00 on Thursday, Sept 10.

  • The check-in form is required to receive your stipend, so please submit it on time!

  • When obtaining your instructor's signature, please discuss their course requirements thoroughly.

• TA Stipend:

  $6,000 NTD/month per person (applies to TAs for General Physics for non-majors as well as Department courses). Paid for 4 months per semester.

• Mandatory Orientation for Select TAs:

  Students serving as TAs for General Physics (non-majors) or Required/Elective Courses in the Physics Department must attend the first class of "Special Topics in Physics Teaching."

  • Time: Monday, Sept 7, 11:00–12:00

  • Location: Room #36169

  • Attendance will be taken at this session, after which the Department Office will process course registration overrides for all attendees.
