2026 NCKU "Outstanding PhD Student" Higher Education Sprout Project Grant

I. Eligibility Criteria

Currently enrolled doctoral students at NCKU who meet any one of the following qualifications are eligible to apply:

1. 7-Year Integrated Bachelor’s-to-PhD Direct Track: Completed the 7-year integrated Bachelor’s-to-PhD program.

2. 8-Year Integrated Bachelor’s-Master’s-PhD Track: Completed the 8-year continuous Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD program.

3. Top 25% Journal Publication: Published a research paper as the first author or corresponding author in a journal ranked in the top 25% (Q1) of its academic field by or before their 6th semester of PhD studies.

II. Award Amounts

1. 7-Year Integrated Bachelor’s-to-PhD Direct Track: NT$ 200,000

2. 8-Year Integrated Bachelor’s-Master’s-PhD Track: NT$ 100,000

3. Top 25% Journal Publication: NT$ 6,000
