Guidelines for Credit Recognition: Modular, Micro-Credit, and Innovative Courses

Advisors are advised to thoroughly review the syllabus (downloaded and provided by the student) when signing the 【Graduate Student Course Selection Advisor Approval Form】, to ensure that the course content meets the research field requirements before granting approval.
(For example: Online courses offered by Osaka University include professional language and art courses. Even if these are graduate-level courses, they are non-STEM or significantly different from our department's fields. Advisors are requested to carefully review such applications and reject non-relevant subjects.)
